Data Deletion Instructions

1. Meta Tech Provider Compliance

Tether Flow operates as a Meta Tech Provider integrating the WhatsApp Business API. In strict compliance with Meta's Platform Terms, Developer Policies, and global privacy regulations (such as GDPR and CCPA), we provide users with a clear, accessible, and automated way to request the deletion of their data, including all data retrieved from Meta APIs.

2. Automated Data Deletion via Meta (Callback URL)

If you have integrated Tether Flow with your Facebook / Meta Business Account using Facebook Login, you can completely remove the app and automatically trigger a data deletion request directly from Facebook.

We have implemented an automated Data Deletion Callback URL that Facebook pings immediately when you remove our app. Upon receiving this ping, our systems will automatically initiate the secure deletion of your account and associated WhatsApp messaging data.

How to trigger automated deletion from Facebook:

  1. Log into your Facebook account and go to Settings & Privacy > Settings.
  2. In the left sidebar, click on Security and Login, then navigate to Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites).
  3. Find Tether Flow in the list of active integrations.
  4. Click Remove.
  5. Check the box that says "Allow Facebook to notify Tether Flow that your connection was removed." (This triggers our Callback URL).
  6. Click Remove to confirm.

3. Manual Data Deletion Request via Email

If you prefer not to use the automated Meta tool, or if you signed up without using Facebook Login, you can manually request the deletion of your account and all associated data.

  1. Send an email to legal@tetherflow.com from the email address registered with your Tether Flow account.
  2. In the subject line, strictly write: "Data Deletion Request".
  3. In the body of the email, provide your account name and explicitly state that you want your account and all associated data completely deleted.

4. The Deletion Process (What Happens Next?)

Regardless of whether the request was automated via the callback URL or sent manually:

  • We will process your request within 7 business days.
  • We will securely and permanently delete your personal data, customer contact lists, messaging history, and any Meta integration tokens.
  • Exceptions: We may retain specific billing records or transaction data strictly if required by law or for legitimate fraud-prevention purposes. This retained data will be isolated and not used for any other purpose.
  • You will receive an email confirmation once the deletion process is finalized.
